Accessibility Statement

At Water Taxi Menorca we aim to make our website https://www.watertaximenorca.com as accessible as possible in accordance with Royal Decree 1112/2018, of September 7, on the accessibility of public sector websites and mobile applications, even though our entity is not required to comply with these requirements as it is a private company.

The main reason is that our company has always sought to guarantee equality and non-discrimination in access to the website for all individuals who contact us, particularly those with disabilities or difficulties using digital technologies.

Therefore, our website has been designed in accordance with the minimum requirements set out in the regulations. In addition, we have implemented an ongoing maintenance and update process that takes into account the needs of all users, always aiming to ensure that our content is perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.

Technical aspects and certifications

Our website is optimized for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 or later versions, as well as for the latest versions of Firefox, Safari, Opera, and Google Chrome. The minimum recommended screen resolution is 1280×1024 for desktop computers.

It can also be accessed from any tablet and mobile device, and is optimized for viewing on the latest versions of Chrome for mobile, Firefox for mobile, Safari mobile, Opera Mini, and the native Android browser.

We have ensured that our content is available in various formats (pdf, xls) to guarantee compatibility whenever possible, and we have verified that there are no hyperlinks to offline pages or content.

This website is not yet fully compliant with RD 1112/2018 or UNE standards, but we are working to achieve compliance levels that will allow us to obtain AA or AAA certification under UNE 139803 and, therefore, the accessibility guidelines of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative).
